Veterans and Spouse Hiring Preference
In accordance with Virginia Code § 40.1-27.2, Field 25 Technologies may give hiring and promotional preference to qualified veterans or the spouse of a disabled veteran.
“Disabled veteran” means a veteran who has been found by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs or by the retirement board of one of the branches of the Armed Forces to have a compensable service-connected permanent and total disability.
“Veteran” has the meaning given in § 2.2-2903 of the Code of Virginia.
Granting preference under § 40.1-27.2 does not violate any local or state equal employment opportunity law.
